Every day is a good day to talk about Jesus but the Easter season is especially easy to introduce others to Jesus because most everybody is already thinking about the season. The conversation starter can be as simple as "Do you have any Easter plans? How do you and your family celebrate during the Easter season?" Their answer can provide you with a wealth of information to continue the conversation and point it to Jesus.
There was a lesser-known disciple of Jesus named Andrew who is not mentioned often in the Bible but the few times he is he is introducing people to Jesus. Three times we find him bringing people to meet Jesus.
The first mention Andrew brings his brother Peter in John 1:39-42 (I'm sure you've heard of him), the next is the boy who had the loaves and fishes (John 6:8-9) and finally bringing the Greeks to see Jesus shortly after He entered into Jerusalem the final time. Each of those encounters did something wonderful. Peter became a follower of Jesus, the miracle of the loaves and fish that fed thousands of people happened, and Jesus provided some deep teachings to the audience.
Something always happens when we introduce people to Jesus. We may not always see it or understand all that is happening but we can trust that God is using our gospel conversations, church invites, and testimonies for His good. Remember, just because someone may not be receptive to our appeals at that moment, it doesn't mean they won't be receptive when and if the seasons change in their life. Keep being faithful and leave the results to God.
