At First Joplin we have multiple opportunities where we go out into the community and serve those in need. If you have a heart for missions, helping with the local outreach projects and want to witness the changing of lives we have projects you can participate in below.
Beautiful Feet Mission Trip
Fort Worth, Texas
Our Beautiful Feet Mission Trip to Fort Worth, TX, is normally the last week in January. The cost is $20 per person, or $40 per family. We also collect sleeping bags and blankets to pass out there. For more info see contact the Church Office.
On this mission trip we work with Beautiful Feet Ministries to share the love of Christ by reaching out and meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the poor and homeless in Fort Worth, Texas. Our team will be working with Beautiful Feet Ministries to do a variety of services - whether it is organizing clothes or food, sharing personal testimonies, talking to people from the streets, completing a construction project, and more. This trip has changed so many lives and we want to continue to go out and to engage those in this area. We hope you will consider joining us on this trip.
