Have you ever been ashamed of something you’ve said or done or even thought? Of course we have. I know for me there have moments in life where I’ve been ashamed of my actions, thoughts or words.
This past Sunday we celebrated the risen Savior and Resurrection Sunday! What a day. He took my sin and bore it on the Cross. Wow. What a statement. I’ve never gotten over that. All the things that we have done in our lives that we are ashamed of and the sin that we have committed against God, Jesus took them upon Him. Incredible isn’t it?
With that said there is something that you and I as believers should never be ashamed of....the Gospel. The greatest story ever told and also lived out. May the church NEVER be ashamed of the Gospel. What we celebrated on Sunday is something that we should celebrate every day that we get. When we wake up in the morning, if we get to, let’s celebrate the Risen Savior and go tell someone about the Gospel. Then the next day.....
Repeat daily.
All glory to Christ!
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
