In these last days, we need to be faithful to the Lord. There is so much teaching that is contrary to Biblical principles that it makes us feel odd, and mad, where did that come from? But it is not the first time that the church has faced this. Paul encourages us in Col. 3:23 “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men” Let us continue faithfully serving the Lord through five different actions.
1. Worship that lifts us: Romans 12:1 “I appeal to you, therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.”
2. Instruction that grounds us: 2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness”.
3. Fellowship that builds/mentors us: Hebrew 10:25 “Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
4. Service that equips/furnishes us: I Peter 4:10 “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace”.
5. Evangelism/Missions that fill the house: Romans 1:16 ” As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace”
This far the Lord has helped us. Ebenezer (Stone of Help)
